Our Pacific Seacraft sailboat is a Mariah

The Crew!
We've been causing trouble together since June, 1996. We are both
ex-corporate types who never really fit in well, but we were at one time
very dedicated to the corporate cause. After our division was shut
down and we were offered jobs in Chicago (ha!) we
decided to check out of the industrial mainstream and do some living.
We love to travel and we have been all over the world the fast way, now we
are going to see everything at 6mph.
Our plan to see the world at a slower pace has been incubating for about
8 years and we're finally done just talking about it!

Let's go already!
Sherrell's a "retired" business operations manager who at
one point was the head of a large operation based in Asia. She spent a
number of years climbing the corporate ladder only to escape out the window
with Eric. |

Let's get underway!
Eric is a "retired" electrical engineer who used to design radios.
Tired of the cubical, soldering parts that are smaller than grains of rice
and corporate politics, he only works occasionally to keep the coffers full. |

Why can't we just stay here?!
Jezebel was rescued from under a porch in Seattle at a
ripe age of 8 weeks. Since her first year on our boat she has
transformed into a friendly sailing cat. She still doesn't like the
engine, but she comes out and greets new people and wanders the boat
unafraid. Hard to believe that a 15 year old cat could have such a
dramatic change in personality! You can see from her photo that she's
always ready to lend a paw to help out. |

All the world is my toy!
Jordan was living in a large hole in the ground when we
found her. She would jump out and come running at the sound of our
voices. We went through a series of ups and downs trying to find her a
new home and getting her spayed (which almost killed her) and she managed to
work her way into a crew position on Sarana. At 1 year old,
she's a crazy-high-energy attack machine. If it moves, she'll get it. |
